Gabhart Named IACC Southwest District President

TrueScripts Founder and Daviess County Commissioner, Nathan Gabhart, RPh, has been named President of the Indiana Association of County Commissioners Southwest District.

Gabhart’s peers elected him to represent them during the IACC’s 2021 Annual Conference last week. This nomination, however, is one of familiarity to Gabhart, who has served in several positions throughout the years, including IACC President in 2018.

As district president, Gabhart will serve on the IACC’s board of directors, which determines policies and legislative goals for the association. It is this nature of focus that also drives his efforts behind TrueScripts Management Services, the prescription benefit management company he founded in 2014.

Gabhart says, “I started TrueScripts in 2014 because I saw a problem. I saw patients getting beat down by the system and businesses struggling because of poor policies. I knew I had to do something. My duties as a County Commissioner, along with my past involvement as President of the Indiana Pharmacy Alliance and Community Pharmacies of Indiana, all coincide to work for the greater good of the people I serve. I pray that I can use my knowledge and expertise to make things better for those who don’t have a voice, or who maybe just don’t understand what is going on.”

Gabhart plans to run for a third term as a Daviess County Commissioner next year and, alongside his TrueScripts team, will continue to lay profound groundwork for disrupting the PBM industry and reviving patient advocacy.

All that we do will reflect our commitment to Amazing Care!
